Начало пути is a small 36x36 map for In the Wake of Gods, set partly underground, and it is rated Impossible. Two players compete, with Red playing Castle and Blue Necropolis. Only one player can be human, and Blue is reserved for the computer. There are no teams. Victory requires defeating a specific hero, and a player loses by losing a specific hero. Heroes are capped at level 2. Grass covers about 42 percent of the map, with rock, subterranean and rough terrain making up most of the rest. Players will find one town, six placed heroes, seven seer huts, three quest guards and 37 timed events. Wandering monsters include hobgoblins, demons and hell hounds, and the artifacts include the Sword of Hellfire and the Talisman of Mana. The author describes a reflective, unconventional kind of journey.
