Castle at the Junction of Worlds is an Extra Large underground map for eight players, all of whom can be human, with no teams. The author describes a castle at the centre of the world that every road leads to, so whoever captures and holds it is most likely to win. Each player may choose from all eight factions. Victory requires defeating all enemies, and a player loses once they have no towns and no heroes left. Rock covers about 41 percent of the terrain, with dirt, grass and water making up the rest. The map holds 32 towns, 91 mines, 12 monoliths and portals, and 105 random monster stacks, including many wandering Halflings and several Black Dragons. Placed artifacts include the Armor of Wonder, the Pendant of Reflection and an Ammo Cart. It is rated Hard.
