It supports eight players, all of whom can be human, with no teams and no computer-only colors. The difficulty is set to Impossible. Seven players can choose from Castle, Rampart, Tower, Inferno, and Dungeon, while Blue has no Castle. Victory requires defeating all enemies, and a player loses by losing every town and hero. Most of the ground is grass or subterranean terrain, with no water. Notable features include 48 towns, 143 mines, 34 monoliths and portals, an Azure Dragon dwelling, and the Grail.
