Война Мага — WoG
Overview
Written from the facts in this map's file
This Extra Large map, whose title translates as "War of the Mage" and which is built for In the Wake of Gods, spans a 144 by 144 field with an underground level. The author's description portrays a world under siege: the Western Darkness is close to breaking through, an advancing Claw Empire presses into free lands, and elves and dwarves have broken their pacts with humans. Eight players share the map, with up to five controlled by humans and three by the computer, grouped into three teams. The factions are Castle, Conflux, Fortress, Tower, Necropolis, and Rampart. Victory requires defeating all enemies, and a player loses by losing all towns and heroes. Rock covers about 45 percent of the land, water 29 percent, and grass 10 percent. Notable sites include 97 mines, 16 creature banks, six monoliths and portals, and several placed artifacts such as the Angelic Alliance.
