These Deadly Islands is a large 108 by 108 surface map with no underground level, built for up to eight players, all of whom can be human, with no teams. Each player starts with a random faction, and the map is roughly half grass and half water, so movement across the islands is a major concern. The author's note boils down to a call to eliminate every rival to win. Victory requires defeating all enemies, while a player is eliminated after losing all towns and heroes. The map holds 14 towns, 68 mines, 11 creature banks, and 124 random artifacts, along with 279 random monster stacks. Wandering dragons, including Azure, Crystal, and Rust types, guard the land, and a single timed event is included.
