Херес — SoD

Херес is an extra large Heroes of Might and Magic III map, measuring 144 by 144 tiles and played on the surface at Normal difficulty. It is built for three players, with only one seat meant for a human, while the two other colors are controlled by the computer. The Blue player fields a Castle, the Teal player another Castle, and the Tan player a Stronghold, with no team alliances set up. Victory requires defeating all enemies, and a player loses once every town and hero is gone. The desert of the title is the dominant landscape, with sand, rough ground, and water covering most of the terrain. The map is populated with wandering armies of Ogres, Mummies, and Orc Chieftains, along with dwellings holding Rocs, Cyclopes, and Behemoths. Seven named artifacts are placed on the map, alongside 55 random artifacts, 51 mines, and 28 creature banks.
