Fear from the Dungeon is an Extra Large underground map of 144 by 144 tiles for up to eight human players, with no teams and random factions for every player. The author's note describes peoples who lived in peace until creatures from below invaded, and who chose to deal with the threat on their own rather than unite. The map is rated Expert and was made for Shadow of Death. Lava covers about 35 percent of the terrain, grass 34, snow 10 and water 9. It contains 26 towns, 118 mines, 83 random artifacts and 243 random monster stacks. Dwellings hold elemental and dragon creatures, and a Phoenix roams the map. Victory requires defeating all enemies, and a player loses by losing all towns and heroes.
