The Wanderings of the Genie is a medium Shadow of Death map measuring 72 by 72 tiles, with an underground level. The premise follows a genie who, after long years as a lamp's servant, sets out to discover what has fed and sustained his magic. Six players take part, one of whom can be human, and the five others are computer-controlled. They form five teams and play Inferno, Tower, Rampart, Castle and Dungeon, with Tower chosen twice. Snow and rock cover much of the land, with grass and water making up the rest. The map holds 45 mines, 12 monoliths and portals, and wandering monsters including Azure and Crystal Dragons. Its artifacts include the Titan's Cuirass. Victory requires capturing a specific town, and a player loses if a specific hero is killed.
