A Scout's Feat is a large underground map for Shadow of Death, spanning 108 by 108 tiles and set at the Impossible difficulty. Six players, each with a different faction (Tower, Rampart, Stronghold, Castle, Necropolis and Inferno), share the field. There are no teams, and only one seat is meant for a human, with the other five controlled by the computer. Victory requires defeating every enemy, and a player loses once all towns and heroes are gone. Terrain is split almost evenly among water, grass, lava and sand. The map holds 45 towns, 13 heroes, 141 mines and the Grail, along with nine named artifacts and 150 random ones. The description hints that consulting seers is worth the effort, and six seer huts are available to do so.
