Siege of Kastigar is a small, hard underground map for Shadow of Death, set on a 36 by 36 grid. Three colors take part, with one human seat and two computer-only colors, and there are no teams. Red plays Dungeon, Blue plays Inferno, and Green plays Fortress. The author's note suggests that the troglodytes loyal to a character named Shakti are doomed in the coming slaughter. Water covers about a quarter of the map, and lava, subterranean ground, and swamp make up most of the rest. Players win by defeating all enemies and lose when they have no towns or heroes left. The map holds fourteen mines, eight creature banks, five monoliths or portals, and fifteen placed artifacts, including Armageddon's Blade and Dragon Scale Armor.
