The factions are Tower, three Necropolis players, Dungeon, Rampart and Inferno. Victory comes from defeating every enemy, and a player loses once all towns and heroes are gone. Rock covers most of the surface, with dirt, grass and rough ground making up the rest, and water is minimal. The map has 14 towns, 44 mines and two seer huts, with wandering cyclops, walking dead and swordsmen among the roaming forces. Dwellings for dwarves, skeletons, harpies and manticores are scattered around, and artifacts such as the Crown of the Supreme Magi and the Titan's Gladius are placed across the map.
