Overview
Written from the facts in this map's file
Forest Tales: Fire is a medium surface map measuring 72 by 72, rated Expert and built for Shadow of Death. Its story follows Kolgo, the head of a small forest village called Stillwood, who sets out to stop wildfires from consuming the woods. Nearly all of the map is grass, with a small share of water. Two players are set up, but only one can be human, and the Green side is computer-controlled. There are no teams. Red plays Castle, while Green plays Castle and Conflux. Victory requires defeating all enemies, and the game is lost if a designated hero is defeated. The map contains four towns, eleven mines, eight monoliths and portals, and several notable artifacts, including the Angelic Alliance, Cornucopia, and Elixir of Life.
