"To Battle!" is a large surface map of 108 by 108 tiles for Shadow of Death, rated hard. Seven players take part, up to six of them human, split into three teams. Every seat is random-faction except orange, a computer-controlled Necropolis lord. The map's premise is that wealth gaps pushed rival lords under different banners. The southern lord is the richest and most powerful, and he is the one player you cannot control. Water covers 46 percent of the land and swamp another 22 percent. Nine towns, 48 mines, 18 creature banks, 32 random artifacts and 69 wandering monster stacks are scattered across it, with dwellings for skeletons, walking dead and black knights. Victory requires defeating all enemies, and you lose by losing all your towns and heroes.
