Дьявольский гамбит — SoD
Overview
Written from the facts in this map's file
Devil's Gambit is a medium underground map of 72 by 72 tiles for Shadow of Death, set on Impossible difficulty. Four players take part, but only one seat is human, and Blue, Tan and Green are run by the computer. There are no teams. Red, Blue and Green play Inferno, while Tan plays Dungeon. Victory requires defeating all enemies, and a player loses by losing every town and hero. Lava, water and rough ground cover much of the map, and its seven towns are supported by 35 mines, 14 creature banks and nine monoliths and portals. The Grail is placed on the map, along with three seer huts, three quest guards and artifacts such as the Cards of Prophecy and the Helm of Chaos. The description tells of a little-known figure, Mariussa, who gathers an unexpectedly strong army.
