Down with the King! is a small surface map of 36 by 36 tiles for Shadow of Death, rated Expert. Three players take part, but only one can be human, and Blue and Orange are computer-only. There are no teams, and every side starts with a random faction. The land is mostly grass, with swamp covering about a third and a little rough ground. Five towns and five heroes begin the game, and the map includes 15 mines, 22 monoliths and portals, 20 random artifacts, and six Legion artifacts. Water Elemental, Crystal Dragon, and Faerie Dragon dwellings are placed around the map. Victory requires defeating all enemies, and a player loses by losing every town and hero.
