Война и мир — SoD

Overview

Written from the facts in this map's file

This extra large surface map for Shadow of Death, sized 144 by 144 tiles, is set in a world split into rival alliances named after regions of the globe, including European, Asian, Russian, Australian, African and American blocs. Water covers most of it, with sand, grass and snow forming the land. Eight players share the field in two teams, and all eight seats can be human. The factions are Fortress, Stronghold, Castle, Dungeon, Necropolis (twice), Tower and Rampart. Victory requires defeating every enemy, and a player loses after losing all towns and heroes. The map holds 25 towns, 78 mines and 12 creature banks, with wandering Azure Dragons and placed artifacts such as Armageddon's Blade.
