Overview
Written from the facts in this map's file
Power by Inheritance is a large 108 by 108 map with an underground level, designed for six players. Only one seat can be taken by a human, and the other five are controlled by the computer. The players form three teams, and the factions include Rampart, Fortress, Necropolis, Castle, and Tower. The premise is that a rightful heir has lost the Scepter of Power to an elder sister, who has fled to a town called Buren. Victory requires capturing a specific town, and a player loses if a specific hero is killed. Rock covers about 44 percent of the terrain and water about 18 percent. The map holds 15 towns, 46 mines, two monoliths and portals, and dwellings guarding strong creatures. Difficulty is set to normal.
