Overview
Written from the facts in this map's file
Battle of the Diplomats is a large surface map for three human players in Shadow of Death, measuring 108 by 108 with no underground level. According to the description, three prominent Erathian diplomats fall out over a disagreement and settle it through open war, drawing the other factions to their side. Red plays Castle, Blue plays Rampart, and Tan plays Tower, with no teams. The terrain is mostly dirt, grass and snow, with no water. The map holds twelve towns, 312 random monster stacks, 25 mines, nine seer huts, ten creature banks, and 24 monoliths and portals, along with 31 random artifacts and placed relics such as the Dragon Scale Shield. Victory requires defeating all enemies, and a player loses by losing every town and hero. The difficulty is rated hard.
