The map is set after the death of a king who left nine heirs and a will naming the successor as whoever recovers the Artifact of Wisdom, which lies in the northern lands beyond the Argon River. It is an Extra Large 144x144 underground map for Shadow of Death, rated Hard, and supports eight players, all of whom can be human. There are no teams. The players are Castle, Rampart, Tower, Stronghold, Fortress, Necropolis, Dungeon, and Inferno. Victory requires transporting the specified artifact to safety, and a player is defeated after losing all towns and heroes. Rock covers about 35% of the terrain and water about 20%.
