Armagedon is an extra large underground map for up to eight players, seven of them human, with one computer-only color, Pink. Set across a 144 by 144 grid, it follows a plot in which noble families have turned dragons and undead to their cause, and the goal is to capture the town of Kiltown within fourteen months. Every player starts with a random faction, and there are no fixed teams. Victory comes from taking that one specific town, while a player is eliminated once they lose all towns and heroes. Water covers about a third of the land, with large stretches of dirt, swamp and sand between. The map is scattered with 48 towns, 20 starting heroes, 135 mines, roaming dragons such as Azure, Faerie and Black Dragons, and 118 randomly placed artifacts.
