Major Meltdowns — AB
Overview
Written from the facts in this map's file
Major Meltdowns is a large underground map for Armageddon's Blade, set on a 108 by 108 grid with both surface and subterranean levels. It supports five players, all of whom can be human, with no teams and no computer-only colors. The factions are Stronghold for Red and Tan, Conflux for Blue, Dungeon for Green, and Castle for Orange. The map is rated Hard. Victory requires acquiring one specific artifact, and a player loses by losing every town and hero. Rock covers about 41 percent of the terrain, with water at 17 percent. Map features include ten towns, seven starting heroes, sixteen seer huts, forty creature banks, and four monoliths or portals. Angel Wings, one of the placed artifacts, is central to the quest the author describes.
