Magic Lake is a large 108 by 108 Armageddon's Blade map with an underground level. It has eight players, of which up to two can be human, and four teams. Red, Blue, Tan, Orange, Purple and Pink are computer-only colors, while Teal is the human ally alongside another human. Factions include Fortress for Red, Tower for Tan, and Stronghold for Purple, with the remaining players drawn at random. The story concerns a mystic lake with a whirlpool that joins two distant regions, a forest and a mountain land. Terrain is mostly dirt, grass, snow and rough ground, with about 3 percent water. Sixteen towns, 53 mines and seven creature banks are spread across the map, along with a Seer Hut, a quest guard and a number of placed artifacts. Victory requires defeating all enemies, and a player loses by losing all towns and heroes. The difficulty is set to Hard.

The forest region of Kellathou and the mountain region of Broxeria have always been seperated by thousands of miles of land until recently. A strange, mystic lake with a whirl pool was discovered that unites the two regions. You and your Teal ally have decided to expand your empire.........
