Mage's Quest — RoE

Mage's Quest is an extra large underground map of 144 by 144 tiles for the Restoration of Erathia game version, rated normal difficulty. Six players are set up, but only one can be human, with the other five colors computer-controlled. There are no teams. Each color starts with a single faction, covering Tower, Necropolis, Rampart, Inferno, Dungeon and Fortress. The goal is to find and capture Baal's castle, while keeping your own town from falling. Rock covers nearly half the terrain, with water, snow and grass making up much of the rest. The map holds seven towns, two starting heroes, 38 mines and 10 creature banks, plus a Grail, seven named artifacts and 17 random ones. Wood Elves are the most common wandering stacks, and the map also includes a seer hut and four monoliths or portals.
