Lord of Fend is an Expert-level map for Restoration of Erathia, set on an extra large 144 by 144 field with underground levels. Eight players take part, but only one can be human, and the other seven are computer controlled, with no teams. Rival factions wage war across the land, and the goal is to recover the Helm of Heavenly Enlightenment, once worn by the warrior Scorblade. Red mixes Castle and Stronghold towns, while each other color fields a single faction from Castle, Stronghold, Rampart, Dungeon, Necropolis, Fortress or Tower. Water covers about 22 percent of the terrain, and the Grail is placed on the map. Losing a specific hero ends the game.
