Life or Darkness — WoG
Overview
Written from the facts in this map's file
Life or Darkness is an Expert-difficulty map for five players, up to three of them human, on an Extra Large 144 by 144 surface with no underground level and no teams. Red and Blue play Castle, Orange and Green play Stronghold, and Tan plays Necropolis, with Tan and Green controlled by the computer. The author's description urges players to rely on their own strength and a few dependable allies, since the goal is to defeat the undead king Morter before he comes looking for them. Victory requires defeating a specific hero, and a player loses by losing all towns and heroes. Grass covers about 46 percent of the land and water about 18 percent. The map holds 14 towns, 32 mines, 16 monoliths and portals, and several placed artifacts, including the Sword of Judgement, along with wandering Crusaders and Zombies.
