Les Avatars (Hard Version) is an Extra Large 144x144 map for Armageddon's Blade with an underground level. It supports up to eight players, five of them human, with no teams. The eight factions are Rampart, Castle, Fortress, Inferno, Stronghold, Tower, Necropolis and Dungeon, and the Green, Teal and Pink players are computer-controlled only. Water covers about a third of the land, with dirt, grass and subterranean ground making up most of the rest. Players win by defeating all enemies and lose by losing every town and hero. The map is rich in towns and roaming monsters, with a Grail placed on it, twelve artifacts placed by name, and several hundred random monster stacks. The author frames the struggle around the wider powers of the depths and the aid of the elder gods.
