Legacy — RoE
Overview
Written from the facts in this map's file
Legacy is a large underground map measuring 108 by 108 tiles, set at normal difficulty for three players, with one human seat and two computer-controlled rivals, Blue and Green. Red plays a Stronghold, Blue a Necropolis, and Green a Fortress, and there are no teams. Victory requires transporting a specific artifact, and a player loses if a particular town falls. Rock covers nearly half the map and water about a fifth. The map holds eight towns, 26 mines, and the Grail, along with several other placed artifacts. Wandering threats include two Medusa stacks, a Minotaur King, and a Diamond Golem. The quest is to find the Grail and restore hope to a struggling people, while rivals pursue the same prize.
