Le Pourfendeur de Dragons — SoD
Overview
Written from the facts in this map's file
Le Pourfendeur de Dragons is a large underground map of 108 by 108 tiles for Shadow of Death, designed for one player on Impossible difficulty. According to the author's description, the hero Dracon aims to become the greatest dragon slayer in the history of Enroth and Erathia, and the map is built around that goal. The lone human player controls Red, which has access to all nine factions and starts with nine towns and three heroes. Rock covers about a third of the terrain, with grass, subterranean ground, lava and water making up the rest. Wandering dragons, elementals and undead roam the map, and the artifacts include Armageddon's Blade and Angelic Alliance. Victory requires defeating a specific monster, and the game is lost if all towns and heroes are gone.
