Land of Norrath — AB

Land of Norrath is a Heroes of Might and Magic III map that brings the setting of the EverQuest online role-playing game into a Heroes-style strategy game. It is an extra large 144 by 144 map with an underground level, rated hard. Eight players, all of whom can be human, are split into seven teams, and each player controls a different faction: Stronghold, Castle, Necropolis, Fortress, Tower, Rampart, or Conflux, with two players sharing Castle. The map holds ten towns and eight starting heroes. Rock covers about half the terrain and water over a third. Notable finds include the Necklace of Ocean Guidance, the Ring of Conjuring, Faerie Dragon and Sharpshooter dwellings, and four monoliths and portals. Victory requires defeating all enemies, and a player loses by losing all towns and heroes.
