Land of Norrath — AB

Land of Norrath is a Hard map for Armageddon's Blade, inspired by the EverQuest online role-playing game and played in the style of Heroes of Might and Magic III. It is an Extra Large 144 by 144 map with an underground level. Eight players share the map, all of whom can be human, arranged into seven teams, with Blue and Green both playing Castle. The factions in play are Stronghold, Castle, Necropolis, Fortress, Tower, Rampart and Conflux. Rock covers about half the map and water a little under two fifths, with grass making up only a small share. The map has ten towns and a set of wandering monsters that includes skeletons, orcs and giants, along with Faerie Dragon and Sharpshooter dwellings and the Necklace of Ocean Guidance and Ring of Conjuring as placed artifacts. Victory requires defeating all enemies, and a player loses by losing all towns and heroes.
