Six teams share the eight starting sides, and each leader commands one faction, from Tower through Dungeon. The leaders compete to bring their rivals' lands under their control. Rock, subterranean ground, water, and grass make up most of the terrain. Victory requires defeating every enemy, and a player is eliminated after losing all towns and heroes. The map holds 22 towns and 9 starting heroes, and Air Elementals, a Chaos Hydra, a Gold Golem, and a Ghost Dragon roam the land. Pieces of the Legion armor, along with the Sea Captain's Hat and the Vampire's Cowl, are placed among the many random artifacts.
