Land of Heroes is an extra large underground map for Restoration of Erathia, set in a world where the descendants of ancient heroes fight among themselves after their ancestors sealed away an evil force beneath the land. The map measures 144 by 144 and supports eight players, with up to five controlled by humans, while the other three colors are computer-only. Players form six teams and take the eight factions from Castle to Inferno, with Rock, Water, Grass, and Subterranean terrain covering most of the land. Victory comes from accumulating 500 Crystal, and a player loses by losing all towns and heroes. The map holds 19 towns and 12 heroes, along with 195 random monster stacks, 108 mines, and 89 random artifacts. Wandering Skeleton Warriors, Wraiths, and Evil Eyes appear in large numbers, and the placed artifacts include Angel Wings and the Crown of the Supreme Magi.
