Land of Doom is an Extra Large 144 by 144 map for Armageddon's Blade, with an underground level and Expert difficulty. It seats five players, four of them open to humans, while the Blue player is computer-controlled only. There are no teams. Victory requires defeating all enemies, and a player loses once every town and hero is gone. Blue plays Castle and Rampart, Tan plays Inferno, Purple plays Necropolis, Teal plays Tower, and Pink plays Dungeon. Water covers about a tenth of the land, and rock and dirt dominate the rest. The author warns that the early weeks are a struggle for survival, with Castle and Rampart lords being especially dangerous. Highlights include 24 towns, 8 heroes, wandering Titans and Black Dragons, and the Crown of Dragontooth among the placed artifacts.
