Lady Butterfly — SoD

Lady Butterfly is a medium two-player map for Heroes of Might and Magic III: Shadow of Death, set on a 72 by 72 grid with an underground level. Its shape is meant to resemble a butterfly, and the author describes it as a fairly simple, closed design. Each player begins with a random faction, and each has a second town and a Utopia in their own area. Rock covers about half the map, with water around a fifth and grass most of the rest, so there is some sailing to do. The map holds four towns, 67 wandering monster stacks, 22 mines, 12 seer huts, and six creature banks. Notable placed artifacts include the Angel Wings, Boots of Levitation, Endless Sack of Gold, and the four tomes of magic. Victory requires defeating all enemies, and a player loses by losing all towns and heroes.
