La Révolution is an extra-large underground-enabled map for eight players, with each player controlling one of the factions Rampart, Castle, Stronghold, Necropolis, or Tower, and no teams. The author's description speaks of many rebellions in a region that could grow into a revolution, and of the need to dominate the underground and bring the Grail there, with another nation lending help along the way. Rock covers about 40 percent of the 144 by 144 map, water about a quarter, with smaller shares of subterranean and grass. Notable placements include the Grail, several Legion artifacts, and a Speculum, while wandering Archangels, Bone Dragons, and Water Elementals roam the terrain.
