La guerre sans fin is an Armageddon's Blade map of extra large size, 144 by 144, with an underground level. It is set for seven players, of whom up to four can be human, and the three computer-only colors are Tan, Purple and Teal. There are no fixed teams. Tan plays Tower and Teal plays Necropolis, while the remaining colors draw random factions. Water covers about 35 percent of the surface, with subterranean, snow and dirt terrain also prominent. Victory comes from defeating all enemies, and a player loses by losing every town and hero. The map holds 37 towns and 13 pre-placed heroes. Wandering Minotaur Kings are the most common roaming threat, and the map includes Grail-free monoliths and portals, 104 mines and 65 random artifacts, plus named artifacts such as the Crown of Dragontooth.
