La guerre sans fin is an Armageddon's Blade map on an extra large 144x144 underground-enabled board, set at Normal difficulty. Seven players start on the map, with up to four human players and three computer-only colors (Tan, Purple and Teal), and there are no fixed teams. Red, Green, Orange, Purple and Pink begin as random towns, Tan plays as Tower and Teal as Necropolis. Victory comes from defeating all enemies, and a player loses once all towns and heroes are gone. Water covers about 35 percent of the land, with subterranean, snow and dirt terrain making up much of the rest. The map holds 37 towns and 13 pre-placed heroes, along with 104 mines, 33 monoliths and portals, and a large number of wandering monsters, including many Minotaur Kings. Artifacts such as the Boots of Speed and the Crown of Dragontooth are placed among the dwellings and guarded sites.
