La France — RoE
Overview
Written from the facts in this map's file
La France is an Extra Large 144x144 map for Restoration of Erathia, with an underground level and an Expert difficulty rating. Eight players compete, all of them human-capable, with no teams and no computer-only colors. The factions are Castle, Rampart, and Tower, with Castle held by Red, Green, and Orange, Rampart by Blue, Purple, and Pink, and Tower by Tan and Teal. Victory requires defeating all enemies, and a player loses by losing all towns and heroes. The land is mostly rock and grass, with water covering about 17 percent and subterranean terrain about 8 percent. The map holds 29 towns, 138 mines, and 28 monoliths and portals, plus 12 pre-placed heroes. Wandering monsters include Battle Dwarves and Wraiths, and the Grail is placed on the map. Placed artifacts include Angel Wings, Boots of Speed, and Dragon Scale Armor.
