Overview
Written from the facts in this map's file
Book of the Jungle is a large underground map of 108 by 108 tiles for Restoration of Erathia, rated expert, with five players, two of whom can be human, and four teams. Red and Blue are random, Tan, Green and Pink are computer-controlled, and Pink is fixed to Fortress. Victory requires acquiring a specific artifact, and a player loses by losing all towns and heroes. The land is mostly rock, with grass and water covering the rest. Nine towns and thirteen heroes stand on the map, guarded by roaming hydras and a few golems, titans and behemoths. The Grail, 55 mines, seer huts, creature banks and monoliths add further interest. The author presents the artifact as the main prize and removing rivals as the way to keep them from it.
