Kaland a Pokolig 2 is an extra large underground-level map for Restoration of Erathia, set on a 144 by 144 field where lava covers nearly half the terrain and water about a quarter. Eight players take part, with at most two controlled by humans. The six computer-only colors play Tower, Fortress, Necropolis, Inferno, and Dungeon, while the two human-capable colors start with random factions. There are no teams, and the difficulty is Hard. The author sketches a familiar land with newly built towns and opened gates, and warns that underground foes are soon to spill onto the surface. Victory requires defeating all enemies, and a player loses by losing all towns and heroes. Notable features include 25 towns, 74 mines, 8 monoliths and portals, 14 timed events, and 17 stacks of Black Dragons among the wandering monsters.
