If You Want to Die — SoD

If You Want to Die is a large 108 by 108 map for Shadow of Death, with an underground level and an Impossible difficulty rating. Four players take part, with at most two human players, while the Purple and Teal colors are computer-only. There are no teams. Red and Blue play Castle and Rampart, Purple plays Tower, and Teal plays Necropolis. The author describes wizards who have lost their wits, at war with one another and raiding everything in their path. Terrain is mostly rock, grass, snow and subterranean ground, with about 6 percent water. The map has 16 towns and 7 starting heroes, and it holds the Orb of the Firmament, the Pendant of Courage and a Wizard's Well, along with wandering Ice Elemental stacks. Victory requires defeating all enemies, and a player loses by losing all towns and heroes.
