Hard live! — SoD

Hard live! is a large Shadow of Death map measuring 108 by 108 tiles, with an underground level and a Hard difficulty setting. It is built for three players, but only one can be human; the Red and Teal colors are computer-controlled, and the human player shares a team alliance with Green. Castle is the faction for the human side and Green, while Teal fields Castle, Inferno and Dungeon towns. The map is roughly a third rock and a third grass, with 18 percent water and some subterranean ground. Its fourteen towns, twelve heroes and a scattering of wandering monsters, dwellings, fifteen named artifacts, and a timed event shape the play. Victory requires transporting a specific artifact, while losing a specific hero ends the game. Heroes are capped at level 8.
