Groo: The Wanderer is a large 108 by 108 map with an underground level, rated hard, for Restoration of Erathia. Seven players share three teams, with up to six played by humans and the Teal side reserved for the computer. The factions are Castle, Rampart, Tower, Necropolis, Fortress, Inferno and Stronghold. Victory comes from building a Grail structure, while a player loses by losing all towns and heroes. The map is mostly rock, with water covering about 13 percent and dirt and rough ground making up the rest. Players will find the Grail on the map, eight kinds of wandering monsters, 54 mines, five creature banks, and several artifacts such as the Golden Bow and Sword of Judgement.
