Gral-Qual is an extra large, two-player underground map for Restoration of Erathia, measuring 144 by 144 tiles, with a single level played underground. Two human players can take part, with no teams and no computer-only colors, and both sides begin with random factions. Rock covers about a third of the map, with water at roughly 29 percent, along with lava and some sand. Wandering monsters include Black Dragons, Archangels, Vampire Lords and a few Arch Devils and Red Dragons, while the dwellings offer creatures from Pikemen to Iron Golems. Mines, seer huts, creature banks and monoliths are spread across the terrain, and the Grail is placed somewhere on the map. Victory requires acquiring a specific artifact, and a player loses by losing all towns and heroes.
