Gold Coasts of Tatalia — AB
Overview
Written from the facts in this map's file
The Gold Coasts of Tatalia is a medium two-player map for Armageddon's Blade, measuring 72 by 72 and including an underground level. Its description, written by Hapkane, presents a harbor region where a newly found vein of gold draws two rival lords into a fight for control. Players start with random factions, with no teams and no computer-only colors. The win condition is to defeat all enemies, and a player loses by losing all towns and heroes. Rock covers nearly half the terrain, with water, swamp and rough ground making up most of the rest. The map holds three towns, twenty mines, and a scattering of wandering monsters, mostly Storm Elementals and Trolls. Seven monoliths and portals, four seer huts, two creature banks and twenty-two random artifacts add further variety to the play.
