Gnollandia — SoD
Overview
Written from the facts in this map's file
Gnollandia is a large 108 by 108 map for Shadow of Death, with an underground level and an Expert difficulty rating. Five players can take part, with up to two human seats and three computer-only colors, split into two teams. Red and Blue play Fortress, while Orange, Purple and Pink play Conflux. According to the author's description, pixies rebel and attack the peaceful gnolls, and Queen Mirabella leads the gnolls against the pixie leader Isabella. Victory requires defeating one specific hero, and a player is eliminated after losing all towns and heroes. Rock, snow, swamp and water make up most of the terrain. The map holds 11 towns, 63 mines and the Grail, along with the Endless Sack of Gold and several placed artifacts.
