Gageteer's Gnolls is a large underground map measuring 108 by 108 and rated expert difficulty. Its backstory concerns a sudden, brutal assault that has devastated the province of Breath, and the question is whether Drakon and his allies can win the land back. Six players share the map, with up to three human participants, while Blue, Tan, and Purple are computer-controlled. The players form three teams. The factions in play include Castle, Tower, Fortress, Dungeon, Inferno, and Necropolis, with Purple fielding four of them. Swamp covers a quarter of the terrain, followed by rock, water, and subterranean ground. Wandering Magog and Gnoll Marauder stacks roam the land, and artifacts such as the Cape of Conjuring and Cards of Prophecy are placed across it. Victory requires defeating all enemies, and the game is lost if time runs out after 168 days.
