Follow the Arrow — RoE

Follow the Arrow is a medium 72 by 72 two-player map for Restoration of Erathia, played on a single underground level. Its name and the author's short note point to a map built around many possible routes and plans, with both sides expected to prepare for whatever the other might attempt. The map is set on a normal difficulty and has no teams, and both players are human-controlled, each starting with a random faction. Rock covers much of the terrain, with grass, sand and water making up the rest. Victory requires defeating every enemy, and a player loses once all their towns and heroes are gone. Six towns, two starting heroes, 88 random monster stacks and seven wandering stacks of powerful creatures add to the action. Notable finds include nine placed artifacts such as Angel Wings and Shackles of War, along with mines, creature banks, seer huts and monoliths.
