Fatherless — SoD
Overview
Written from the facts in this map's file
Fatherless is a large underground map measuring 108 by 108, played on a Hard difficulty setting for four players, all of whom can be human. The author's description casts the player as the young heir to a kingdom ravaged by a war between four clans, with the father either dead on the battlefield or taken prisoner. Players start as Tower, Rampart, Necropolis, or a random faction in red, with no teams set. Victory requires defeating all enemies, and a player loses by losing all towns and heroes. The terrain is mostly rock, with grass, water, and snow covering the rest, and the map holds twelve towns and the Grail. Wandering monsters include trolls, water elementals, and black dragons, and the map is also scattered with mines, creature banks, and monoliths and portals.
