Famined Times — SoD

Famined Times is an extra large underground map measuring 144 by 144 tiles, built for four players with no teams and no computer-only colors, so every seat can be human. Blue, Green, Purple and Teal each begin with a random faction on a difficulty rated Hard. Water covers about a third of the land, with grass, rough and sand making up most of the rest. The map is won by flagging all mines and lost when a player loses all towns and heroes. Scattered across the map are twelve towns, eight placed heroes, 112 mines, 24 seer huts, 39 creature banks and 16 monoliths and portals. Wandering monsters include Crystal, Black, Rust and Faerie Dragons, Titans, Power Liches and elementals. Placed artifacts include the Centaur's Axe and the Inexhaustible Cart of Lumber, and one timed event is included.
